This quote reminds me of my parents - I have them to thank for my eagerness to travel the world. Growing up, they always believed we could learn so much through traveling and I'm so grateful for that. Whether we were doing something educational, adventurous, or both, we were constantly absorbing things about the world around us.

The first time I traveled by myself was when I went to Europe in 2019 for a study abroad program. And let me tell you, it wasn't easy. I was a wreck, absolutely terrified to travel across the world alone. I didn't know anyone, I had never been to Europe before, and I didn't know anything about the culture. But once I finally got past all of the worries & tears, I had the most incredible time.

I met new people, found myself in the most beautiful places, and learned so much about the culture. I left feeling more confident, knowledgeable, and inspired than I'd ever felt before. I always wondered if my itch to travel would slow as I grew older, but I continue to find myself dreaming about new places to visit every day.
